NO MORE PILES OF DEAD BATTERIES!

Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, I have taken the last couple of months to look back and see what we can do better. The fundamental issue with producing lithium battery packs for stairlifts, it has been virtually impossible to test, recharge and have faith in a battery pack to reuse it for a different client.

So, here is my solution… I have taken inspiration from other ‘tried and tested’ applications. By incorporating  technology that is currently in use in hundreds of products such as drones, remote control cars, and many hobby applications, they all use a balanced charging system.

For a lithium battery pack to function properly, all the cells contained must be fully balanced.

Each of the battery packs we now supply, come with a 5 wire balance plug. This allows the battery pack to be charged and tested. The charger is pre-programmed to take each pack to its optimum voltage of 16.8v, which means you just plug it in to the FREE charger we supply. The balance charger will instantly read the battery for any faults or issues, meaning you can be 100% sure that the battery pack is good for service.

I would also like to add, we now only use grade A1 EVE35V cells in all of our battery packs. These cells are direct from the manufacturer. This means you have a massive 10.5amp battery.

Every battery pack is manufactured by us, and goes through a strenuous test programme before it goes out the door, and we are that confident in this design, we offer a 3 year warranty.

In summary, no more piles of dead batteries hanging around everywhere, and you will be able to check, charge, recharge and re-use our lithium battery packs.
